'Remember Me' Alexander Maxwell, introducer, for originator, Luke Norton, deceased, R. 1952) TB, 37" (94 cm), Early midseason bloom. Standards golden-tan with rosy suffusion; Falls glistening golden-tan, beard same. 'Cascade Splendor' X 'Alexia' seedling# 49-1. Iris Test Gdn 1953.

From Iris Test Garden Catalog, 1955: REMEMBER ME. (Norton, 1953). A cross of Alexia Seedling and Cascade Splendor. Color a glistening golden tan at base of standards, and suffused with a rosy color at tops of standards; with the heavy crimped edges. Falls a glistening gold tan with beard of same color, style arms same color as beard. Edges heavily crinkled. About 35 inches tall; fairly large flower, strong stalk, well branched. The best Norton seedling. Was originally to be named Luke Norton; but on decision of Mr. Norton's daughters, was named REMEMBER ME. $9.00.
