| From Carl Salbach catalog 1945: REMEMBRANCE (Hall 1942). A large iris in a very pale pink blend. Tall, fairly well branched stems. Good substance. Vigorous grower and free bloomer. Midseason. 38". $5.00.
| From Fairmount Gardens catalog, 1946: REMEMBRANCE (D. Hall 1942) M. An iris that comes from a long line of breeding for pinks by this hybridizer. It is a soft pink blend with a suffusion of pale yellow throughout. The form, substance, and branching is good and it makes a lovely bit of color in the garden. H.M., A.I.S. 1943. A.M., A.I.S. 1944. Per. R. 88 1944. 38 in. Sold out until 1947. $5.00.
| REMEMBRANCE (Hall, 1942): Outstanding among pink blends for good substance and near approach to true pink; a self with clear color; haft sulphur yellow with light venation; beard and styles yellow; falls flaring; stalk strong; branching good except for a little bunching at top. As seen in the last two seasons, it has impressed me as lacking warmth of coloring.
