[[TbAthruE.TbCrownPoint]['Crown Point']] X [[TbAthruE.TbCarolineJane]['Caroline Jane']]. Fleur de Lis 1963. High Commendation 1961; Honorable Mention 1964; Judges Choice 1964, 1965; Award of Merit 1966.

| From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1963: RIBBON ROUND (Tompkins 1963) E.VL. 48 in. (Crown Point x Caroline Jane). Here, without the faintest shadow of a doubt, is the most beautiful plicata we have ever grown or seen. After three years of close observation we have not found it lacking in any quality. Quite the reverse in fact, for it seems to get better each season. In spite of being one of the largest of all Iris, this nevertheless, as you can readily see by the cover picture, is one of the most exquisitely formed, having perfectly domed, swirl tipped standards and beautifully held semi-flaring falls. The petals are extremely broad, heavily substanced and smoothly finished and the whole flower is wonderfully ruffled. Adding to its extreme beauty, is the added distinction, extremely rare in plicatas, of its immaculate cleanness, for it is completely devoid of any stripes or flecking, the flowers seeming to be cut from snowy white velvet upon which a beautifully stitched edge of bright blue has been carefully applied. A delicate touch of this same blue repeated just at the tip of the thick creamy beard further accents this purity and beauty. Hardy, a fine grower with clean, broad, purple based foliage, it has huge, tall, perfectly branched stalks that display the massive flowers to perfection. One to a customer. No. 60-2.
