2000, Ernst

'Ring Around Rosie' (Richard Ernst, R. 2000). Seedling QKF125-14A-10. TB, 35" (89 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards white, yellow gilt rim; style arms white, yellow accents; falls white ground, purple sanded pattern, 1/4"-3/8" yellow rim; beards yellow and orange. Seedling KF125-14A: (('Edna's Wish' x 'Wild Jasmine') x sibling) X seedling KF125-32E: (('Edna's Wish' x 'Wild Jasmine') x sibling). Cooley 2000. Honorable Mention 2002; Award of Merit 2004; Wister Medal 2007.

Fabulous new plicata pattern not seen before in the iris world. From the breakthrough crossing of EDNA'S WISH X WILD JASMINE, we have created a series of seedlings with purple plicata patterns on white falls with yellow rims. Standards are clean white with a yellow gilted edge. Beards are yellow to orange. Nicely ruffled. Absolutely new and different. SDLG. QKF125-14A-10.

Fertilizer Prefers rich conditions on relatively inorganic soils.
