1978, Stahly

'River Patrol' (Harold Stahly, R. 1978). Seedling# 72-101. TB, 36" (91 cm), Early to Midseason bloom. Standards deep violet-blue; falls medium blue, washed deep violet-blue in center; blue beard. ('Mary Randall' x 'Edenite') X 'Stepping Out'. Stahly 1978.

From AIS Bulletin #229, Spring 1978 Introducing RIVER PATROL (H. Stahly '78). Sdlg. 72-101. TB, 26", EM. Deep violet-blue standards; light blue falls with a heavy flush of deep violet-blue in center; blue beard. There are usually 9 blooms per stalk, semiflaring, lightly ruffled and of pleasing form. Produces seedlings with definite spot pattern in the falls. (Mary Randall x Edenite) X Stepping Out. HC '76. $25.00. H. Stahly.
