ROOKWOOD (Wareham 1939) M. A lustrous brown and heliotrope blend of great and unusual beauty. The well arched standards are glowing bronzed heliotrope. The falls have the same under color flushed with pleroma violet in the center, and a touch of daphne red around the deep bronzy yellow beard. An iridescent flower with the color changing according to the light. The flowers have great weather resistance. Well branched tall stalks. H. M., A. I. S. 1939. R. 86 1941. 40 in. $2.00.
