Introductory catalog description from National Iris Gardens for 1945:

Rose Festival National 1945.jpeg

Rose Festival had a decent distribution throughout the country from its introduction in 1945 through about 1956. It now, unfortunately, seems to have disappeared from gardens. Two of the major nurseries carried it in its day…National Iris Gardens from 1945 to 1954 and Fleur De Lis from 1946 to 1952. The last listing found in catalogs from the Biodiversity Heritage Library collection was from Minneapolis based Burn's Iris Garden in 1956.
