From AIS Bulletin #205 April 1972 Introducing ROSILLA (Tams). #T18-68. ML. 38". Cashmere X (Melodrama x Rippling Waters). Another superb creation by the hand of the breeder of Pink Divinity and Dream Lover, the latter being a half sister to this lovely flower. Rosilla is an exciting bicolor with peach-pink standards nicely domed; falls rich, smooth orchid-rose, very wide, ruffled and flaring. Heavy stalks carry three branches and terminal with nine or more buds. Blooms over an extended period. Bright tangerine beard. Fertile both ways. HC '71. Net $25.00. Tell's Gardens. |
ROSILLA (Tams) has orchid-pink standards, lilac falls, tangerine beard. Quite smooth, the hafts have some light brown markings. This flower is a pleasingly ruffled and flared flower with adequate branching and buds as seen here. [Hal Stahly, AIS Bulletin #210 July 1973:33] |
