The blooms are very wide and full, of beautifully rounded form and lasting substance. It has proved very useful in breeding for pinks and reds. Hans Sass’s new RED TORCH is from ROUGE BOUQUET X PRAIRIE SUNSET. The growing and blooming habits are excellent. R. 87. 1942. $1.00. |
ROUGE BOUQUET (Whiting 1941) M. A bouquet of many colors from deep orange to copper, rose red, and red purple, so well mingled that the whole effect is a rich red and purple blend. The flowers are very large with broad arching standards and wide rounded semi-flaring falls.
