'Royal Summer' ( Charles Applegate, R. 1970). Seedling# 151-67A. TB, 40" (102 cm), Early midseason bloom and rebloom. Standards strong purple (Nickerson 5P 4/9); falls deep purple (7.5P 3/9) with darker velvety over-lay; yellow beard tipped blended blue. 'Jet Black' X 'Summer Fantasy'. Summerlong 1971.
