'Russet Glow' (Lyle Blackley, R. 1977). Seedling# 72-21. TB, 33" (84 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards russet, lighter in center, greenish midrib; falls slightly darker at edges, shading to golden russet in center; russet-yellow beard; ruffled. ('Mary Randall' x 'Frankly Red') X ('Apricot Dream' x Treasure Mountain). Come N' Look Gardens 1980.

From AIS Bulletin #237 April 1980 Introducing RUSSET GLOW (Blackley '80) 33 N, M. (Mary Randall x Frankly Red) X (Apricot Dream x Treasure Mountain). Two branches and a terminal bear 6 or 7 buds, opening to ruffled golden-russet flowers with closed S., slightly lighter in center and a greenish midrib. Flaring, ruffled F., slightly darker than S., shading to golden russet in the center, with russet-gold beards. Good form and substance and a glowing color seldom found in the russets, due perhaps to the predominantly pink breeding. $25.00. Come 'N' Look Gardens.
