'Sail Master' (Eugene Burger, R. 1974). Seedling# E-50. TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Standards butterscotch; falls dark blue-violet, ruffled; violet beard tipped brown. 'Amigo's Guitar' X 'Milestone'. Gene & Gerry's Iris 1974.

From AIS Bulletin #213 April 1974 Introducing SAIL MASTER (Burger '74) $25.00. Sdlg. E-50: Amigo's Guitar X Milestone. TB, 36", M-L. Large, ruffied and flaring blossom. Butterscotch standards and dark blue-violet falls. Beard is violet tipped brown. Excellent branching-9 buds. Good vigorous growing habits. Received 7 votes HC 1973. Gene & Gerry's Iris Gardens.
