'Sand And Sea' (Bennett Jones, R. 1973). Seedling# 69-1-1. TB, 31" (79 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards antique bronze; falls. blue, evenly bordered antique bronze; bronze beard. 'Punchline' X 'Cambodia'. B Jones 1974. Honorable Mention 1975; Favorite Guest 1976.

From AIS Bulletin #213 April 1974 Introducing SAND AND SEA-69-1-1: (Punchline X Cambodia). A small tall, just over the limits for border irises. Nicely held, ruffled standards are rich antique gold. Wide, ruffled falls are blue, bordered antique gold. Well branched; four or five flowers open at one time is not unusual. 30". $20.00. Bennett Jones.
