From Nicholls Gardens catalog, 1992: SEPTEMBER REPLAY (Frank Jones 92) Remontant Tall Bearded Iris TB sdlg. J82-35 30" Early. The standards are a rich golden tan, lightly frilled. Nicely ruffled, golden tan falls have plicata markings of a pronounced darker cinnamon brown. The hafts are marked with pleasing maroon veining. White area around the orange beard is bisected by a cinnamon brown line. It has a distinctive spicy fragrance. The prolific bloomer is an excellent grower with disease resistant foliage. This New Jersey bred iris has the added bonus of being a reliable cold climate rebloomer. This lovely charmer will delight as it freely reblooms during July, August and September. 35.00. |
