The 1927 C. H. Hall catalog gives; "Serenade (1927) — S. rose-purple; F. rose-purple to liseran purple. Good-sized flowers with broad circular segments. A light pink of desirable substance and fresh coloring. 30 inches. $5.00 each."
From Maple Valley Iris Gardens catalog, 1937: SERENADE (Hall I927) M. 30 in. A very good fresh colored pink of medium size and smooth, wide, well rounded form. Very refined and pleasing in form and color. 25c .
