From the 1948 Spring Milliken Gardens catalog (PDF) description on page 20 (which page also has a colored photo of 'Serenata'): Our visitors like this pinkish flower with its firm flaring falls shading to hellebore red (Ridgway) and its softer russet-wine colored standards. The flowers spread about six inches. Very attractive. 2" feet
