1968, Moldovan
'Seven Leagues' (Steve Moldovan, R. 1966). Seedling# 65-41. TB, 37" (94 cm), Late midseason bloom. Standards violet-blue; falls violet overlaid turquoise-blue; very ruffled. 'Pacific Panorama' X 'Sterling Silver'. Moldovan 1968. High Commendation 1967; Honorable Mention 1969.
SEVEN LEAGUES (Moldovan '68). Lavishly ruffled and fluted; huge shaded lavender coming from Sterling Silver. May be a trifle narrow for its size; nevertheless one you will not bypass.
