'Shturman Riabova' Штурман Рябова (Irina Driagina, R. 1996). Seedling #6-54. TB, 44" (112 cm), Early midseason bloom. White, Standards tinted light blue; beards light yellow. Parentage unknown. Driagina 1974.
Translation: Штурман Рябова = Navigator Ryabova. The variety is named after Ekaterina Vasilyevna Ryabova, a pilot, participant of the Great Patriotic War, navigator of the 46th Guards Women's Night Bomber Regiment, and Hero of the Soviet Union.
