'Silvery Dew' (James Burch, R. 1980). Seedling# 74-9E. TB, 37" (94 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Light violet (RHS 87B), fading to 87C in center of falls; yellow orange beard. 'San Leandro' X 'Séance'. Burch Iris 1982.

From AIS Bulletin #245 April 1982 Introducing SILVERY DEW (Burch) TB, 37", M-L, Sdlg. 74-9E. This light violet (RHS 87B) self is overlaid with a silvery sheen. Its ruffled standards are atop ruffled and fluted falls, with yellow-orange beards. Many favorable comments, including "dynamic", were made about this iris and its excellent performance at the St. Louis Convention. (San Leandro X Seance). HC 1981. $25.00. Burch Iris Gardens.
