From AIS Bulletin #245 April 1982 Introducing SILVERY DEW (Burch) TB, 37", M-L, Sdlg. 74-9E. This light violet (RHS 87B) self is overlaid with a silvery sheen. Its ruffled standards are atop ruffled and fluted falls, with yellow-orange beards. Many favorable comments, including "dynamic", were made about this iris and its excellent performance at the St. Louis Convention. (San Leandro X Seance). HC 1981. $25.00. Burch Iris Gardens. |
