'Singing Skies' (Howard and Ruth Goodrick, R. 1975). Seedling# 168-2. TB, 39" (99 cm), Midseason bloom. Ruffled light blue self; dark blue beard, yellow in throat. Seedling# 119-7: (((('New Snow' x 'Lipstick') x Hall pink) x 'Enchanted Snow' sibling) x (Rudolph seedling# 65-92: 'Crystal Blaze' x Rudolph seedling# 61-64)) X 'Regal Image'. Goodrick 1975. Honorable Mention 1977.

From AIS Bulletin #218 July 1975 Introducing SINGING SKIES (R. Goodrick). TB, M, 38". This light blue self with heavy, darker blue beard, yellow in throat, resulted from breeding for red-bearded blues. Flowers are ruffled and nicely formed; well-branched stalks have seven to nine buds. Vigorous. Seedlings show blue beards. Sdlg. 168-2: (119-7: involving New Snow, Lipstick, Hall pink, Enchanted Snow sib, Crystal Blaze) X Regal Image. $25.00. Country Village Garden.
