From AIS Bulletin #248 January 1983 Introducing SKOOKUMCHUCK-TB, M, 86 em, Plicata, #160-4A. $25.00. This reliable reblooming plicata is perhaps the richest color combination of all. Standards are ruffled and slightly laced. The orange-apricot ground color is flushed and veined a greyed red (RHS 180) that increases in intensity toward the tips. Falls are rich orange-apricot,rimmed by lines and specks of a deeper color than stands. Small, clean, white signals at the tip of bright red beards (44A) are most attractive. The 34" stalks are well branched, having eight 5 x 6" blooms. Gibson Iris Gardens.
