■(TB) 'Smoky Whispers'

2008/09, Blyth

'Smoky Whispers' (Barry Blyth, R. 2007). Seedling# M61-A. TB, 38" (97 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards smoky pinkish lilac; falls similar, creamy overlay; beards tangerine coppery bronze. 'Candy Clouds' X 'Stop Flirting'. Tempo Two 2008/09.

Hybridizer's Comment: Standards are a smoky pinkish lilac. Falls are similar with a creamy overlay nicely blended. The noticeabie highlights are the beards. They are striking tangerine-copper to bronze. Good show stems and a strong grower, but not a fast increaser. Different! Untried fertility.
