'Smoldering Fire' (Barbara Nicodemus, R. 2003). Seedling# D8-5. TB, 34" (86 cm), Early midseason bloom. Lightly ruffled smooth sooty black tinted red, falls velvety, flared; beards dark rusty sienna, base red black. 'Hello Darkness' X 'Epicenter'. Rockytop 2004. Honorable Mention 2008.
