From Tell’s Iris Garden catalog, 1958: SNOW BONNETT (Melvina Suiter, Caldwell, Idaho). Midseason-Late. 28-34 inches (Pinnacle x Summit.) This gorgeous yellow plicata resulted from crossing "mother and child". The finest yellow amoena I have seen. The standards are pure white, the falls deep clean yellow and both wide and flaring. Some might wish that it were taller, personally I like it as is. I am sure few of us want them all the same height. $20.00 |
