From the introductory Clarence Blocher catalog, 1978: SNOW HOLLY (Madeline L’Engle X Happiness Is). In this cross one iris stood out from all the rest. This is the best white I have ever bloomed. Heavily ruffled, excellent substance, fine branching, 8-10 buds well placed so three flowers are open at a time. Not many of my iris win awards, but this one got an H.C. in 1977 as B-388. 30.00
