Opal Brown, R. 1973). Seedling 8-1A51. TB, 34" (86 cm), Midseason bloom. Lightly laced sea lavender (RHS 85D), paling at maturity to near white; brick red beard, purple base.

From AIS Bulletin #209 April 1973 Introducing SNOWBLAZE (0. L. Brown '73). TB, Mid. 34". Ruffled, lightly laced flowers are misty orchid paling to near white at maturity. Beard is deep shrimp red with a purple base which lends depth and intrigue. Standards closed; falls flared. Good branching with 7 to 8 buds. HC '72 under #8-1A51. Net $25.00.
