'Snowblaze' (Opal Brown, R. 1973). Seedling 8-1A51. TB, 34" (86 cm), Midseason bloom. Lightly laced sea lavender (RHS 85D), paling at maturity to near white; brick red beard, purple base. 'Lightning Ridge' X 'Christmas Time'. Brown's Sunnyhill Gardens 1973. Hign Commendation 1972 (under seedling 8-1A-51).

From AIS Bulletin #209 April 1973 Introducing SNOWBLAZE (0. L. Brown '73). TB, Mid. 34". Ruffled, lightly laced flowers are misty orchid paling to near white at maturity. Beard is deep shrimp red with a purple base which lends depth and intrigue. Standards closed; falls flared. Good branching with 7 to 8 buds. HC '72 under #8-1A51. Net $25.00. Brown's Sunnyhill Gardens.
