| From Fleur de Lis Gardens catalog 1956: SOFT ANSWER (Wills 1953) M. 38 in. (Sib to Silver Flame). The same in color combination as its sister seedling, this has slightly cream toned standards and much brighter falls. Very broad and flaring. H. M. 1953. 7.00.
| Soft Answer (Wills) - "seemed much more refined than Pinnacle and had good branching. Standards are creamy white while Pinnacle's standards are blue white.
