1987, Rowlan

'Space Mirage' (Henry Rowlan, R. 1986). Seedling# 81 SA 15. TB, 32" (81 cm), Late midseason bloom. Standards white; falls mid-violet, fading to 1/4" white edge, brown haft markings; orange beard; violet horns; lightly ruffled. 'Post Script' X 'Horned Flare'. Comanche Acres, Rowlan Irises 1987.

From AIS Bulletin #265 April 1987 Introducing SPACE MIRAGE-Sdlg. 81 SA 15, 32", ML. Slightly ruffled white standards with mid-violet falls that fade on the outer half to a l/4" white rim. Brown haft markings and a orange beard that ends with violet horns. Postscript X Horned Flare). NO SALES. (To be used by Comanche Acres Iris Gardens in year 1987-conditions are set up in their catalog). Rowlan Irises.
