'Spacelab' (Donald Saxton, R. 1983). Seedling# 75-6. TB, 32" (81 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards light to medium yellow; falls light to medium lavender pink, 1/8" light red edge, medium red hafts; light yellow beard tipped light violet; ruffled. 'Cloud Capers' X 'Fireball'. Saxton Iris 1983. Exhibition Certificate 1981; Honorable Mention 1986.

From AIS Bulletin #249 April 1983 Introducing SPACELAB (Saxton '83). Sdlg. 75-6, TB, 32", M. S. light yellow; F. light lavender-pink blended into medium red-violet line signal with 1/8" light red band. Light yellow beards tipped light violet. Wide, semi- flaring form with wave ruffling. (Cloud Capers X Fireball). $25.00. Saxton Iris Garden.
