From Easy Breeze Gardens catalog, 1954: SPELLBOUND (Linse '51) 42". HM '52. Big, bold and handsome! This glowing iris is done in red with a golden overlay. Large size, fine ruffled, horizontally flaring form, excellent habit of growth, and good substance and stalk all go to make this a most outstanding iris. In addition, it has the marvelous fragrance of Clove pinks. We think there's nothing to equal it in this color. $10.00.
From Wallace Iris Gardens catalog 1955: SPELLBOUND (Linse '51). 42 inches. Big, bold and handsome. This spellbounder is done in red with a golden overlay. Large size, fine ruffled horizontally flaring form, excellent growth, good substasce and stalk, and unfading color, all qualifications of a great iris. H. M.'52. $6.00.
