From AIS Bulletin #241 April 1981 Introducing SPRING FLING (Don Denney, 1981). TB, E, 34". SPRING FLING produced a riot of pink color early in the iris season. Its shade of pink is one of those that commands eyes to it from across the garden. Flowers are pleasingly fluted and ruffled; branching and growth habits are excellent. A choice garden variety. It's an iris with personality. This may be your SPRING to have a FLING. (CLARENDON X CARVED PINK). $25.00. Cottage Gardens.
