'Starring Encore' (
Donald Spoon, R. 2007). Seedling 2003-119A. TB, 35" (89 cm). Early to midseason bloom and rebloom. Standards raspberry (RHS 86 C/D) with bases blended golden yellow; style arms edged golden yellow with raspberry crests and midlines, laced crests; falls distal 2/3 plum purple (77A) with lighter edges, basal 1/3 sun spray of cream grading to yellow at hafts with maroon (183C) veins; beards golden yellow, yellow orange (23A) in throat; ruffled; lightly laced; sweet buckwheat fragrance.

- TB 'Starring Encore' bloomed at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, zone 4b, approximately May 25 - June 5, in 2017. Although I didn't notice any purple based foliage at the base of the leaves, 'Starring Encore' does have purple coloring on its spathes. -- HollyJohnson2017 -04-01 - 02 Oct 2017
- TB 'Starring Encore' appears to have a single bud on a single stalk in December of 2024 - zone 7B, Oklahoma. No purple based foliage, but purple on the spathe. Update 12/29/24 - it has four buds on the first stalk, second stalk still emerging First bloom opened 12/27/24. -- JaymieBlatt - 14 Dec 2024
