'Sugarplum Fairy' (Melba Hamblen, R. 1979). Seedling# H73-90D. TB, 36" (91 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards apricot (RHS 19B) with pink infusion; falls violet (87B), pink infusion at edge; orange-red beard. Seedling# 68-31: ('Touché' x 'Misty Dawn') X 'Potpourri'. Mission Bell 1980. Honorable Mention 1983.

From AIS Bulletin #237 April 1980 Introducing SUGARPLUM FAIRY. 36" (91 cm), ML. Well-formed bicolor with apricot standards, violet falls and cerise beards. The flush of pink in the standards extends along the upper edge of the falls. Wide petals, heavily ruffled. Strong stems, eight buds. (Touche x Misty Dawn) X Potpourri. HC '79. #H73-90D. $25.00.
