A similar iris was apparently masquerading for it in one of the three gardens it was in. I have liked this iris in California. It makes a pleasing clump." |

| From Melrose Gardens catalog, 1964: SUMMER HILLS (Babson) At the Denver AIS convention this was a sensation. Of course we have been telling everyone that since it was introduced. A huge rounded arilbred-like form (it isn't) in a golden grain color. Sometimes flecked with violet and most popular when it is. HM'63. |
