From AIS Bulletin #237 April 1980 Introducing SUMMER OLYMPICS (1980). A brilliant greenish yellow reblooming self. Huge, great increase, a super iris. $30.00. Raymond Smith.
From Zurbrigg's 1988 Avonbank Gardens catalog: SUMMER OLYMPICS (Raymond Smith 80) 32" E & RE Indiana (late Oct. in VA). S greenish yellow; F white with yellow hafts. This is a large, wide iris of much quality. It has much to offer the hybridizer (and I have used it a lot), including ruffling. (sdlg. x Winter Olympics) X (Rippling Waters sdlg. x Wr.
