'Summit Angel' (Carl Jorgensen, R. 1994). Seedling# 84-01-2D. TB, 30" (76 cm). Late midseason bloom. Heavily ruffled white self; style arms with white crests; beards white; slight sweet fragrance. Seedling# 82-01-3: (seedling# 78-24-5A x seedling# 76-01-1A: (seedling# 73-24-5A x 'Christmas Time')) X seedling# 78-24-5B: (seedling# 73-24-5C: ('Merry Miss' x 'Dream Spinner') x seedling# 74-24-7A: ('Merry Miss' x 'Symphonette')). Long 1994.

From AIS Bulletin #293 April 1994 Introducing SUMMIT ANGEL (Carl Jorgensen) Sdlg. 84-0l-2E, 28" M-L. A pristine pure white, very ruffled self. Five-plus buds well spaced on S-curved show stalks; 3 branches plus terminal. Wide, flaring falls, closed standards with excellent flower substance. Long bloom season. Slight fragrance. $30.00. Long's Gardens.
