1965, Brown

'Sunlit Ripples' (Opal Brown, R. 1965). Seedling# -11A8. TB, 28" (71 cm), Early to late bloom. Standards canary yellow (Wilson 2/3), edged deeper; falls lighter and edged color of standards; beard and heart 2/2. 2-25B (involves blues, 'Chantilly' and others) X seedling# 2-22F (involves pinks and red-bearded whites). Brown's Sunnyhill Gardens 1966.

From AIS Bulletin #181 April 1966 Introducing SUNLIT RIPPLES (0. L. Brown '66) 28" to 32". Crinkled standards are light yellow; wide, horizontal falls are cream with intense fluting and intricate yellow edging; beard is yellow. Adorable! Net $25.00. Brown's Sunnyhill Gardens.
