This vivid, deep yellow self with a rich yellow beard, also drew much attention at the 1955 Convention where it was shown under No. 52-40. A large, well formed flower of heavy substance with closed standards and semi-flaring falls of exceptional width. An impressive iris of unusual landscape value. Sets seed and bears some pollen.
