From Campos Altos Iris Garden catalog: SUZANNE AUTISSIER. (Denis). A large Ricardi hybrid, a bicolor of blue and violet purple on tall stout stems. Very vigorous in California. Each $5.00.
From Quality Gardens catalog 1931: SUZANNE AUTISSIER (Sue-zan’ O-tee-see-a) (Denis 1923) M. 40". Enormous flowers on tall branching stems. S. aniline blue. F. dark, velvety purple violet. It is much like Magnifica in coloring and size, but much superior to it in vigor and floriferousness, and it is perfectly hardy. Because of their similarity, and for the above reasons, we have discarded Magnifica from our list. $.50.
