From Tell’s Gardens catalog,1959: SWANDALAY (Luzon Crosby.) Early to Late. 40 inches. (Swan Ballet x Mt. Emmons.) This wonderful white self with a white lemon-tipped beard was the best of all the gorgeous white seedlings from this cross but was the one with the least increase. Uinta and Lilac Bouquet were introduced and now we are happy to have enough of this to release. The petals are wide and full and the falls flare and ruffle attractively. The name for this iris might have been "WHITE PERFECTION" so very perfect is its form and beauty. The well branched stalks are heavy. Her mother, SWAN BALLET, is very proud, so is "grandpa." C56-I2E. $25.00
