'Sweet Serenity' (
Leonard and Kathie Jedlicka, R. 2008). Seedling# Jeda 5-50X19. TB, 37" (94 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standards white; style arms white touched blue and yellow; falls lavender blue, hafts dark veins on yellow ground; beards orange in throat, orange yellow in middle, yellow at end, fuzzy light blue 3/8" to 1/2" upward arching horns; pleated, very ruffled.

From Blue J Iris online catalog, 2017: SWEET SERENITY - Leonard & Kathryn Jedlicka, 2009, TB, SA 37”, ML. Standing next to a clump of this spaceager is like floating among the clouds in the sky. The fluffy white standards are super-ruffled, & the flaring falls are a pleated lavender-blue. Styles are white, touched blue & yellow, & the hafts have dark veins on yellow ground, like whimsical tiger stripes. Beards are orange deep down, orange-yellow in the middle, & yellow at the end. The consistent appendages are fuzzy light blue 3/8 – ½” horns arching upward. 9-11 buds & good branching round out the resume for this bloom.
