From Fairmount Gardens catalog, 1946: SYLVAN BELLE (Peck 1944) M Tall and well formed this warm white is the outstandmg Iris in the garden of Mr. Peck. A seedling of Gloriole, it has firm domed standards and semi-flaring falls with slight golden reticulations at the hafts which lend a glow to the whole flower. Hardy and a prolific grower. R. 88 1945. 40 in. $10.00.
