From AIS Bulletin #181 April 1966 Introducing TAFFY TWIST (Bernice Roe) M, 35" (FLUTED HAVEN X JADE QUEEN). Greenish buff, green gold at haft, faint blue-lavender below beard, which is yellow. Large broad flowers. Edges of falls and standards crinkled in a twisted pattern. The whole flower looks as if it had gold dust blown over it. Good branching and many buds. Was much admired (under number) by garden visitors. Has proved to be a remontant here. $25.00. Roe Nursery. |
