From AIS Bulletin #225 Spring 1977 Introducing TEMPLE GOLD (Walt Luihn, 1977). #74-8BA. TB, 38", M-L. Miss Illini X Solano. This lacy beauty has been such a favorite of so many of our garden visitors over the last couple of years that already we have reservations for it. We feel that it is the best seedling from Solano breeding to date. We hope to have many more. It has inherited its pollen parent's stiff ram-rod stem, excellent branching, floriforousness, great substance and good bud count. It is a laced and ruffled delight of Aureolin yellow, wide and flaring, with thick beards of Cadmium orange. We are proud to introduce it. $25.00. Walt Luihn. |
