'Tequila Sunrise' (James McWhirter, R. 1977). Seedling# J-74-108-4. TB, 38" (97 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards yellow-orange (RHS 14B); falls deep violet (84A),edged tan (165B);yellow beard; laced. 'Amigo's Guitar' X Gaulter seedling# 68-593: ('Laurie' x 'San Leandro'. Cottage Gardens 1978. Honorable Mention 1980.

A strong plant; 9 buds with standards yellow-orange, ruffled and held well topping falls of deep violet The falls are rimmed with a tan border which has LACE!! The beards are yellow.
