From Fleur de Lis Gardens catalog 1956: THE CITADEL (Watkins/Graves 1954) M. 38 in. (Helen McKenzie sdlg). A magnificent white that is larger and even more pure in its coloring than its parent. The flower is very large with broad petals and beautifully flaring form Tops. H.M. 1954. 17.50.
