'Three Cheers' (Paul Cook, R. 1945) TB. Midseason bloom. Color Class-W9D. 'Wabash' X (('Susan Bliss' x 'Morning Splendor') x amoena seedling). Honorable Mention 1946.

Fropm Carl Salbach catalog 1947: THREE CHEERS (Cook 1945). Brilliant blue bi-color on tall stems. Most iris inthese shades are low growing. The blooms are of good size. Standards are white with shadings of blue, falls semi-flaring dark violet to mulberry purple with narrow border the color of standards. Excellent substance. Rather high branched. 40". Mid -season. $12.50.
From Marble Iris Gardens catalog, 1957: THREE CHEERS (Cook 1945). M. 38 in. Amazingly brilliant bicolor that is similar to Amigo in color, but much bolder in contrast and height. The flowers are of good size with a clean finish, and no fading of the blooms. It has a prominent whitish beard. Vigorous grower and free flowering. H.M., 1946. Each 75c; 3 for $2.00.
