From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2014: THREE PART HARMONY (Black ‘14) TB Midseason-Late 32” (81 cm). Ditto what was said of ‘Simply Coral’ and ‘Soft Whisper’ except these flowers are a bit larger, well within the traditional tall bearded range. Color of ‘Three Part Harmony’ is quite unique and pleasing. Mid peach styles peer from between mid pink standards. Warm white falls are blended to light green cream margins. Big orange red beards add an interesting syncopation. This and ‘Soft Whispers’ were chosen for introduction from among some 30 selected seedlings from this cross. Show stalks have plenty of buds to insure a long bloom season. Variation within this cross was wildly diverse. There are at least 2 more that will be introduced. Use it to breed exciting new color combinations. Sdlg. R168H: Passionate Embrace X (Beauty Becomes Her pollen parent x unknown). $45.00. |
