2008/09, Blyth
'Timeshift' (Lesley Blyth, R. 2008). Seedling# 03L-10-1 TB 34" (86 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standards icy lavender-blue, lighter at midrib; falls smooth violet, 1/4" lavender blended edge, hazed lavender sunburst around lightly burnt tangerine beard; pronounced spicy fragrance. 'Naples' X 'Balderdash'. Tempo Two 2008/09.

| Hybridizer's Comment: Standards are icy lavender blue, slightly lighter at the midrib. Falls are a lovely smooth violet with an 1/8" blended edge of lilac and a hazed lavender sunburst pattern spreading around the beards. Beards are lightly burnt tangerine. Flowers are lightly ruffled, lilting, full and wide. Branching is OK, not show branching. It has a strong spicy perfume. |
